Racker Director of Community Relations and Development

Overview

Starting compensation is $80,000 to $100,000. This position reports directly to the agency's Executive Director, and is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive public relations and fundraising strategy to support the agency's mission and vision. This position is also responsible for fostering relationships within the community, on social media, and through other marketing functions for all agency programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a planned giving fundraising program
  • Develop a public relations program that fosters a broader understanding and appreciation of Racker's services, and role in the community
  • Engage in community stewardship
  • Support the planning and implementation of special events, seminars, and conferences
  • Manage a staff of four
  • Integral member of the senior management team
  • Supports the overall fundraising needs of a $38 million organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of public relations or development preferred
  • At least seven years' experience in public relations, development or related field
  • At least seven years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in networking and/or community collaboration
