Feb 7 - Annual Fund Manager
HANGAR THEATRE, Ithaca, NY is seeking an Annual Fund Manager, responsible for a full range of institutional advancement activities. The Annual Fund Manager reports to the Managing Director, is part of a two person development team, and works closely with board development committee on annual fund related activities including solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship. The Annual Fund Manager will help to develop a comprehensive fundraising plan and calendar to raise $300,000+ in annual contributions (including benefit/cultivation events, grant funding, and direct mail/email campaigns); Attend and report to Board and Board Committees; Create direct mail and email campaigns; Coordinate stewardship activities; Actively maintain personal relationships with stakeholders through regular in-person meetings, events, newsletters, email, and phone correspondence; Participate in event planning and assist the Development Associate with event execution. This 11-month position has an annual layoff in December and January with year-round health insurance benefits. Mar 4 - Majority of Fundraisers See Salary Increases in 2012
(May 13, 2013) Average salaries for fundraisers increased in the U.S. and Canada in 2012, with 66 percent of respondents to the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) 2013 Compensation and Benefits Study reporting salary increases of up to 10 percent.
